Heh, you really think so? I think it would be better if I didn't have to use references... but then I'm not the kind of artist that can draw from memory yet, so looking at another picture helps a lot!

Thats exactly what i was like untill a few months ago, i just drew everything in sight to get my skills up and then slowly started trying to draw stuff from my imagination, and now i can do it just fine .

Awesome. I'm pretty much semi-perfectionist when it comes to drawing fanart, I like everything to line up and be perfect. I'll be drawing more of Lust, and some drawings will parallel a fanfic I'll also be writing, so things will get even more cool from here.
